Following the recent political events that took place here in Makadara Constituency, events which occasioned the nullification of election of the Member of parliament for Makadara constituency and further following the massive and outpouring support given to me by the masses to vie for the same seat, I hereby wish to state that I am and willing to do the same, and Wish to state as follows:-

oThat I strongly feel that I have a calling to serve the great people of this constituency of Makadara as their Member of parliament. I therefore make this solemn and humble announcement that I will offer my candidature for the Makadara seat when the by-election shall be formerly called upon.

oIf and when I am elected M.P. I will star by protecting public property, ensuring Makadara people live without any harassment of whatever from, oversee that all the bad roads are repaired, Security in the estates and business premises is addressed appropriately and make sure small, medium and large scale traders of all types are conducting their business in a peaceful environment etc.

oI will also make sure that all the conductors and drivers of matatus who are languishing in remand prison are instantly released through bonds/ fines.

oI will continue protecting the rights of people of Makadara as I did when I want to court to block the city council decision from banning PSV vehicles ferrying Makadara residents to the NCBD from the estates. The residents no longer walk from muthurwa to the CBD

oI will also continue with my spirit of assisting the poor like in the recent fire disaster that caught our viwandani residents . Through God willing I donated blankets and food stuffs to the affected families.

oI recently paid cash bail of Ksh 40,000 to release two young drivers (names ) from lungalunga / Viwandani who were arraigned before Makadara court and their parents could not afford the paid they were freed and now out on bond.

             Therefore I beseech you the great people of Makadara constituency to make a choice and decide whom you want this time round to be your member of parliament. In the name of our lord I humbly request you to make that choice to be HON. MIKE MBUVI MUNGA.
